Berala Medical Clinic is owned by Dr Mohammad Nizam Uddin and Dr Abdullah – Al Mahmud Dr Mohammad Nizam Uddin studied Medicine and graduated in Bangladesh. He worked there as a General Practitioner for 4-5 years and then further widen his experience in Iran for 10 years. Since arriving in Australia in 2001, Dr Uddin became AMC, MBBS and FRACGP qualified. He has worked at Gosford and Bankstown Hospitals for 2 years and as a general practitioner at Belgrave Street Medical Clinic in Kempsey. In 2013, Dr Uddin set up Berala Medical Clinic in partnership where he currently practices at full-time and in 2014, had also set up another clinic in partnership; the Punchbowl Family Health Care Centre where he also currently practices part-time. His special interests are general medicine, men’s health, paediatrics, orthopaedics, and mental health. Dr Uddin is from Bangladesh and languages spoken are English, Farsi/Persian, Bengali, Hindi, Urdu.

Being a generalist, my interests are all aspects of general practice. Women’s and Men’s health, Children’s health, Chronic health management, Mental health, Preventative Medicine, Health assessment and screening.
